Light Night

“entre chien et loup” is a french proverb meaning litteraly; somewhere between dog and wolf. a common translation in English would be stuck between a rock and a hard place. and the term is derived from being at the time of dusk between night and day where an object in the distance could either be a dog or a wolf, or a friend or a foe.

i decided this would be a good starting point to make a piece of art for the “dead of night theme” for 2012’s Leeds Light Night.

as the brief was an incredibly short one to develop a full idea with only a week from concept to finished piece. workshops available were metal. Image
